My Passion... As long as I have walked this earth it is ballroom dancing combined with a love of music that I have lived for. Rhythm is life and surrounds us all, it lives and breathes seamlessly with nature, and it is ballroom dancing itself that represents the most beautiful manifestation of its very essence. To dance is to experience rhythm in its most dynamic state bringing peace, awareness and joy to the soul. A bit about me... I was born in New Zealand and started dancing at the age of 17. Teaming up with my first partner, we won both national and international championship titles, spanning an illustrious five years. To compete at this level we left New Zealand to study full-tme in London, with the world's most renowned teachers and represented the country on the world competition circuit. In 2001 I joined the professional ranks, forming a new partnership specialising in the Latin American style, once again representing my country in international dance sport competitions, and along with a busy training schedule, embarked on my teaching career.
Teaching ballroom dancing has now become a full-time vocation. I continue to further my knowledge and am now studying under the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing here in London. I hold an Associate Membership of the NZ Socie
